Indian Festival of Arts
       For several years, the Indian Festival of Arts was a four-day gathering of Native American tribal members from around the West brought together to showcase their heritage, arts, and crafts. Music, dancing, displays, and contests were featured at the annual event held in La Grande, Oregon. Following is a sampling of images captured by Gildemeister during the 1974 festival event.
